A Sunny Sikh Ceremony at Home – Charanpreet & Tony

Charanpreet and Tony’s Sikh ceremony was everything I love about multicultural weddings – joyful, vibrant, meaningful, and full of heart. Held in a stunning marquee in Charanpreet’s parents’ garden, the setting was just perfect. The sun was blazing, the colours were bold, and the whole day felt like a warm hug.

This wasn’t a wedding about posing for the camera. Charanpreet and Tony made it clear from the start that they wanted the focus to be on spending time with their people – and honestly, that made my job even more special. It meant capturing all the real stuff: the glances, the laughter, the quiet little moments in between the big ones. The kind of memories that actually stick.

From the traditional Sikh ceremony to the incredible food and non-stop atmosphere, there was so much love and culture woven into every part of the day. The energy was electric and the whole family made me feel so welcome.

This was just part one of their celebrations – the next stop is Ireland, where they’ll be continuing the festivities with more of their family and friends. I feel so honoured to have been there for this part of their journey and to document such an important chapter in their love story.

These two showed that your wedding doesn’t have to follow a script – it just needs to feel like you.
