If you’re planning a city elopement wedding, you’ll enjoy this wedding!
When Michelle and Peter first got in touch with me about their elopement, I was so happy – they were planning a stylish city wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Michelle and Peter are the sweetest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Bride and groom prep
Szerdi and I started the day at Michelle and Peter’s house, where the couple and their friends were getting ready together, and it was really chilled afternoon, everyone was in a good mood and the dogs were running around! Michelle wore a gorgeous lace dress and Peter wore a light blue suit and they both looked really incredible.
The ceremony
The wedding took place at Marylebone Town Hall in the Pimlico Room, always a fav of mine! It was a romantic town hall ceremony. They had a beautiful reading from the registar which brought pretty much everyone to tears. along with some unexpected noised from the pups! After the ceremony they had a dramatic first kiss, and then we went and did some group portraits and confetti photos, we all know I’m a sucker for a confetti photo!
The afternoon
It was a drizzly day, which wasn’t in the plan but the couple didn’t mind. While the guests headed over to the reception venue, we wandered around the city doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from the afternoon is the photo of the two of them wandering through London with the dogs. Check it out below!
