PHILLIP + ADAM’S TIPI WEDDING AT WHATTON HOUSE | PLANTS, PUPS + PURE VIBES 🌿🐾

May 15, 2025

Okay but imagine this: golden hour sun, laughter drifting across a lawn dotted with games, dogs snoozing under tables, and a tipi glowing with fairy lights. That was the energy at Phillip and Adam’s absolute vibe of a wedding at the magical Whatton House. ✨

From the moment I arrived, it was clear this wasn’t going to be your average wedding day – and honestly, I was obsessed.

These two legends run a doggy daycare biz, so OF COURSE their pups made the guest list (and yes, they were adorable in their wedding accessories). The whole day was filled with personal touches – including the most thoughtful wedding favours I’ve seen: houseplants grown by the grooms themselves! 🌱 Every guest went home with a leafy little memory of the day. Honestly, show me a more wholesome power couple. I’ll wait.

Their ceremony was led by the wonderful Lisa from Queer Ceremonies, who brought so much warmth, personality, and love to the tipi. It felt intimate, meaningful, and just… so them. No cookie-cutter vows here, just two people promising to keep showing up for each other, dog hair and all.

As the guests got stuck into lawn games (competitive energy was HIGH 😂), we snuck off for some golden hour portraits in the lush gardens. The light was perfect, the grooms looked incredible, and the vibes were immaculate.

Later, under the soft glow of the tipi, Phillip and Adam shared their first dance to Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather – a track that felt like it was written just for them. Not a dry eye in sight (myself included, let’s be real).

This wedding was a reminder that when you strip away the pressure and the performance, what’s left is real love, chosen family, and dogs wearing adorable accesories. And honestly? That’s the dream.
