Maxcene and Mark got married at Stanford Hall, which is a beautiful statley home in Leicester with stunning grounds. It was the most beautiful wedding and even the weather played ball!
The Ceremony
The ceremony was an intimate service in the main room of Stanford Hall. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading from the registrar. It was such a personal service.
They decorated the area with gorgeous florals and candles, which I loved. The reception was in the barn at Stanford Hall – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Stanford Hall are amazing, because the grounds are endless.
Why Stanford Hall is a great place to get married
Stanford Hall is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Leicester. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early – and there is a stunning grand ballroom that’s perfect for photos.
The afternoon
The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and live music in the evening. For dinner they had an amazing three course meal, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with dancing and drinks in the barn.

Maxcene wore a gorgeous lace fishtail style dress and Mark wore a relaxed style suit and they looked really incredible.
The couple got in touch with me this year, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they were so relaxed.
