INTIMATE ELOPEMENT WEDDING AT CITY HALL IN CARDIFF – NICHOLA AND JAMES

October 19, 2020

IF YOU’RE THINKING OF ELOPING OR HAVING A SMALL WEDDING THEN YOU’LL LOVE THIS CITY ELOPEMENT WEDDING!

THE WEDDING

The ceremony took place in the city, and was a small elopement with their two friends as witnesses, which was lovely. Their ceremony took place in Cardiff City Hall and was a moving occasion, full of nervous giggles. The ceremony ended with the couple being showered with lots of colourful confetti.

Nichola and James’ day was so fun of love and happiness and it proved that the only thing that matters is love.

After the ceremony, we went for couples portraits around Cathays Park in Cardiff. I always think that the couple portraits are such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in, and I got some beautiful photos in the shade of the trees. The weather at this city elopement wedding was so sunny, which was perfect for photos.

TOP TIP FOR PLANNING A WEDDING

Nichola and James’ wedding proved that you don’t need lots of guests or fuss for a perfect wedding. Micro weddings and elopements are becoming really popular now due to COVID-19 and the constantly changing restrictions. This has been a weird year and although it’s definitely changed a lot of peoples plans, I think it’s so incredible that so many couples have remembered that love is not cancelled and that the marriage is the most important thing.

I loved this city elopement wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a elopement wedding photographer, get in touch.
