If you’re planning a wedding at Ingestre Orangery in Stafford, you’ll love this wedding for inspiration!
Amanda and Alex got married at Ingestre Orangery, which is a gorgeous Orangery in Stafford with stunning grounds. It was a beautiful day and the sun shone all day long!
The Day
Amanda and Alex got ready at the Swan Hotel not far from where they were getting married. You could tell how excited they were on the morning. Getting ready in the same space is always super handy and it makes the morning so much more relaxed.
Once they were ready they headed off to the church for the ceremony. The ceremony was a intimate service at the church on site at the venue. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading as well as some amazing hymns. We don’t often shoot church weddings but THIS ONE! Oh wow, this one was beautiful, it was a gorgeous church and the whole thing was really emotional.
They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at Ingestre Orangery – I love this venue because the light is gorgeous for portraits and candids. Weddings at Ingestre Orangery are amazing, because the grounds are so gorgeous.
The reception
The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a photobooth in the evening. They also had lots of places to chill out and lawn games which went down a storm. For dinner they had some amazing fusion food, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance, followed by everyone heading onto the dancefloow which was packed all evening! They finished off the evening with just the two of them reading their own private vows to each other.

Amanda wore a lacy dress and Alex wore a three-piece suit and they looked really gorgeous. Amanda also had a second dress, which was a gorgeous slip dress, check it out below, these two look like something straight out of a magazine!
The couple got in touch with me this year, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they just wanted to be married, and I loved that they just wanted to party, spend time with friends and family and eat some amazing wedding food and cake.

Ingestre Orangery is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the nicest places to get married in Stafford. The venue offers onsite parking so guests don’t have to walk – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.
