If you love a good party then you’ll enjoy this London wedding!
Kaylee and Mike got married at the awesome The Venue on Middle Street in Croydon. It was a super fun winter wedding with surprise Drag Acts and a special guest appearance from DJ Luck and MC Neat to keep guests entertained.
Getting hitched
The ceremony took place on the top floor of the venue, and was decorated with florals and foliage which made the room smell incredible, it all looked so lovely. The ceremony included a beautiful humanist service led by one of their close friends and their gorgeous pup Harvey walking down the aisle! After the ceremony the couple back down the aisle whilst being showered with colourful confetti. The whole ceremony was a really heartfelt occasion, full of nervous giggles.
After the ceremony, we snuck off and took some time out for couple photos, this is one of my favourite things to do because it’s such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in, and I got some really fun photos in front of some graffiti. The weather at this London wedding was a real mixed bag, but that didn’t bother them at all, we wandered around Croydon snapping some pics and even stopped in Five Guys for a quick burger!
The London wedding
The whole day was held at The Venue on Middle Street which is perfect for weddings because it has so many options across the three floors, and it’s got such a fun vibe, especially in the evenings when the lights go down.
When we got back from taking photos, the party got started and everyone was loving the 360 photobooth and the personalised cocktails that Kaylee and Mike had organised for their guests, you could tell that everyone was having a blast. After that, all of the guests were then called down to the ground floor for dinner and speeches, they organised some incredible food with some amazing grazing style options – it was delicious. After dinner, they also had some incredible and hilarious speeches but my absolute favs were Mike’s best men’s speeches and Kaylee’s speech which then got interrupted by an amazing drag performance!
The Party
After dinner, everyone got straight on the dancefloor, and the party really kicked off, everyone was in such a good mood and the dancefloor was packed all evening with the DJ kept the party going all night. The evening ended with everyone piling onto the dance floor the surprise act showed up, which was SO much fun, you could really tell everyone was having a great time.
The whole wedding was such a laugh, from the Kaylee’s awesome dress to the wonderful speeches and surprise acts. These guys know how to throw a party and we were SO happy to be a part of their day, I can’t wait to get started on there full gallery but for now here is a little sneak peek at Kaylee and Mike’s love story in photos.
