IF YOU LOVE THE COUNTRYSIDE THEN YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEST WALES BARN WEDDING!
Sheryl and Kevin got married at the spectacular Olde Barn at Pen Y Graig Farm, Carmarthenshire. It was a stunning West Wales Castle wedding, with stunning florals everywhere and an amazing grazing style table buffet to keep guests entertained.
Getting hitched
The ceremony took place at the beautiful Carreg Cennen Castle, and was so romantic, which was lovely. The ceremony included a translation in Welsh and English which was a really lovely touch. It was a moving occasion, full of nervous giggles.
After the ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos, and I got some really fun photos as they enjoyed the afternoon. The weather at this West Wales Castle wedding was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a stunning day.
The Olde Barn at Pen Y Graig Farm
The reception was held in a rustic barn. The venue is perfect for weddings because it’s so cosy and relaxed, and it’s got such a quirky vibe, especially at sunset when the candles and fairy lights are glowing.
For the reception, the couple had organised welcome cocktails, welshcakes and a caricaturist for their guests, and everyone loved it. Guests were then called for dinner, which was doughnuts and grazing tables – it was delicious.
The party
After the speeches, they had their first dance, and the dancefloor was packed all evening. The couple also had a slideshow app where the guests could send in their photos for them to be displayed on the screens which kept everyone entertained all evening.
The evening ended with everyone cwtched up around the fires outside and guests playing in the photobooth which was so much fun. The whole West Wales Castle wedding was so laid back, from the romantic vows to the awesome live band everyone had a great time.
