IF YOU’RE PLANNING A SOUTH WALES WEDDING, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING!
When Eleri and Rhys first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so thrilled – they were planning a relaxed hotel wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely evening reception with friends and family for the reception. Eleri and Rhys are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding! COVID-19 has been difficult for everyone this year so I was SO happy when these two finally got married!!
The ceremony
The wedding took place at the gorgeous Rhondda Heritage Park Hotel, and was a small intimate ceremony with their loved ones. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and headed outside where they were showered with confetti.
The afternoon
The wedding reception took place in the goregous Rhondda suite, which they’d decorated with amazing dried florals! Eleri also owns Bear’s Bouquets in Bridgend who make AMAZING dried floral installations! Honestly Eleri did such an amazing job, it was all so beautiful.
It was a bright and sunny day, which was perfect for photos. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we headed over to the Museum to get some formal shots and couple photos! I’d never been to the Museum so it was so interesting to see everything! Defo recommend a visit!
My FAV photo from the afternoon is easily the candid ones of Eleri and Rhys at the Museum, you can really tell how in love these two are with each other and the Museum has so many amazing backdrops for photos. Check it out below!
For the meal they had proper wedding grub, and it was absolutely delicious. Afterwards, they had some wonderful speeches and they also had a live musician, who was a huge hit, the dancefloor was packed all evening. When I tell you that these guys knew how to party!! Honestly there were outfit changes, shots and a lot of amazing dancing!!
Top tip for planning a wedding
If you’re currently wedding planning, make sure that you don’t get caught up in all the small details. The key thing is that you both enjoy the day and spend time with your nearest and dearest.
